Chanel seen by Carine Roitfeld
We knew that the former editor of French Vogue would soon to talk about it. Landed or resigned (?) At the Condé Nast late last year, it did not take him long to find new activities.
New hands-on everything from fashion, Carine Roitfeld vogue (a little!) Between New York and Paris. Promoted in late March "guest editor" and stylist at Barneys NYC, its mission is to inspire a new wind to the creative teams. She is working on new advertising campaigns as well as the design showcases the brand.
The second spearhead the priestess is its role as a designer with his friend Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel Fall-Winter 2011-2012 campaign. Shot by the Kaiser himself with for the fifth consecutive year as muse Freja Beha Erichsen.
The result of the campaign was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival last few shots are already visible in preview before they flood our fashion bibles.
Away from the chic porn Roitfeld signed the style for years, the former editor is riding vintage choosing to stage the Danish model in a photo booth.
The poses are wise turns lascivious, thoughtful or even displaying a playful smile and mischievous little face hidden behind a siglé wolf (see image 2).
Of the three shots presented alone, the latter seems to remember the era "roitfeldienne" playing somewhat provocative and using codes of the Sicilian widow to display a suggestive pose.
If the new Chanel campaign is running the anchor side of fashionistas, it is sure that it will not impact the client brand, blindly attached to the double C, leaving a significant artistic freedom to the terrible twos friends mode.
